As a small non-profit with a very limited budget, we hired Jocelyn to lead us through all the dimensions of a crowdsourcing fundraising campaign (we were total novices around social networking). Within a month, we had created and populated a strong facebook presence, had selected the best fundraising software for this campaign and built our Razoo site and launched our campaign. Jocelyn donated more hours than I can count, was incredibly creative and helpful, followed through on details, initiated contacts with us throughout the campaign and crafted compelling and feelingful messages. Within six weeks, we had raised close to 15K and are still going forward. I am looking to continuing her work with us and cannot recommend her highly enough. She is committed, reliable, energetic and impassioned and very reasonably priced. It doesn’t get much better than that!
Sarah Kacevich, Program Manager at Strong Women, Strong Girls

Jocelyn is a guiding light in the dark for many young women like myself who are seeking mentorship as they development their personal, academic, professional, and spiritual visions and goals. Her extremely warm, personable, meet-you-where-you’re-at nature and down-to-earth approach to life nevertheless parallels her encouragement to set your objectives high and gain a spiritual sense of your life’s purpose. Jocelyn pairs practical advice (on topics like networking, gaining mentors, smart job applications, etc.) with emotional connection. She will encourage you to say “YES” to new challenges and opportunities, as well as to say “NO” to relationships and situations that do not serve you. She is an ideal mentor for women who want to serve in the field of social justice and/or become holistic entrepreneurs while developing a healthy work/life balance, building from a place of internal wellness, and maintaining positive relationships.

Jocelyn is a great mentor. Since starting work with her in January, I have learned a great deal about networking. She has helped me learn how to use LinkedIn effectively and how to utilize my existing college/ personal network. Her guidance has definitely given me a lot of confidence in career hunting and advancing my personal aspirations. I am proud of the goals that I am reaching every day. Jocelyn has been a great help in attaining these goals and her mentorship comes highly recommended.
Stephanie Hertz, Career Specialist at Goodwin College

Jocelyn never ceases to impress me, with her professionalism, positive energy and commitment to making a difference in the world. Jocelyn has served as a volunteer countless times with the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) and in this role has interacted with and advised students, layleaders and staff members. Her communication skills are excellent and she is a natural leader.
I have also referred job seeking friends to Jocelyn on several occasions. She has the skill set and experience to coach people of any age group and background. Jocelyn exhibits an exuberance and passion for the work she does and this is infectious. I can’t recommend her highly enough as a mentor, consultant, coach and program manager.
Scott Johnson, Master of Social Work Candidate
December 31, 2016, Jocelyn worked with Scott in the same group
Jocelyn is a professional with a broad skill set in human services. One of which is her role as a group facilitator where she provided psychoeducation and life skills. I was very impressed with her ability to maintain group work dynamics–holding group context, summarizing, profoundly reflecting back to the group, as well as sitting in silence to allow the group members to formulate their own thoughts.
I was also inspired by her creative drive to improve access to wellness. She has a strong ability to create and nurture new partnerships. Collaborators from outside facilities brought enrichment to the agency that the community members perhaps would not otherwise have found; she has improved the lives of many people with her dedication and passion for the work. She is a compassionate person with high integrity. I would recommend Jocelyn for future work in human services.

Jocelyn was an attentive and conscientious volunteer services coordinator during her time at Planned Parenthood Southern New England. She always had time to answer any questions, was friendly and a joy for me as a volunteer to work with overall. She even took the time to review my resume. I highly recommend her for any mentoring and service position.
John Jessop, Program Manager, Information Security at Multinational Corporation
September 30, 2013, John was senior to Jocelyn but didn’t manage directly
Jocelyn was extremely effective in her roll as Volunteer Service Coordinator as demonstrated by the increase of volunteers that PPSNE experienced under her tenure. Besides wonderful interpersonal skills, Jocelyn exhibited some strong business skills as was evidenced by her business plan for new volunteer coordination software. She researched vendors, reviewed products, created a gap analysis and summarized her findings in a well-written that made decision making exceedingly easy. I would work with her again in a New York minute!

John Dodig, High School Principal at Westport Board of Education, Retired
January 28, 2014, John was Jocelyn’s teacher
Jocelyn is a graduate of Staples and I have kept in touch with her throughout college years and recently met with her. She is an extraordinary young woman who is driven to rid the world of bigotry and prejudice. She is also a passionate supporter of helping young women develop strong healthy self-images. She is interested in learning more about a position at a private school on which you serve on the Board of Directors. I believe the position focuses upon diversity. I can think of no one better suited for such a position than Jocelyn.
Dan Woog, Writer, Blogger, Speaker, Community Builder, LGBT Activist, Soccer Coach, Educator, Humanist

Jocelyn brings boundless energy, enormous passion, clear insights — and great good humor — to every project she undertakes. She sees the big picture, but never loses sight of the humans — and humanity — that are the cornerstone of all she does. I recommend Jocelyn highly, and without reservation.
